DEHN circuit* is DEHN's design system and enables consistency, reduces redundancy and creates a shared language in and between cross functional teams.

As a company, it is important to maintain a consistent design across all products, while working to speed up the development process. A design system provides one way of achieving this, as it allows a set of rules to be created and followed, which can be built upon to create a consistent look and feel that can be applied to future products.
However, while the design system provides the structure and framework needed to create a consistent user experience, it is also important to embrace flexibility, so that if and when the situation calls for it, it is possible to break the design rules in order to make the products better.
To create a successful design system, it is necessary, over time, to collect every component used and think about every combination of them, describing both the look and value as well as the interaction. What's more, this is an ongoing process to which everyone involved in the project should contribute - from developers to designers and everyone in between and outside.
In this way, a design system can provide the consistency across products that is so important to businesses, while leaving the door open for improvements and adaptations to be made where necessary. This can help ensure that every product the company creates is the best it can be, and that the development process is both efficient and effective.

This website has been set up to provide a central location where all relevant information and resources of DEHN circuit can be easily accessed and updated. In practice, however, it can happen that the files and subsystems of the design system and especially the repositories and libraries of the product teams, which are only linked to the system, are spread over several locations. In an effort to consolidate and streamline access to these scattered resources, we have compiled a list of all relevant links on this page.

The provisionally completed system. All components in the main branch of the respective file have been completed, at least from a design perspective. Drafts and elements that are still under discussion can be found in sub-branches.
